Error al iniciar gta4

Hola,

Cuando quiero jugar gta4 en steam inicia la parte de socialclub sin problemas, pongo mi cuenta y contraseña, luego presiono jugar, pero el juego no inicia  y me aparece un cuadro con el siguiente error: SecuLauncher: failed to start application. [2000] (pasa lo mismo en modo online u offline), he reinstalado el juego y verificado cache pero no funciona.

Mi sistema operativo es windows 8.1 y en cuanto hardware debería funcionar todo full sin ningún problema.

Si me pudieran ayudar por favor.

Ya busque en internet e hice todo las weas, pero no fnko y los de rockstar no responden

Consulta. compro el CD o lo compro por internet?, si es por internet porque no re intenta descargarlo, borrandolo y volviendo a descargar, si es por CD valla donde su distruibuidor :S

fue por internet, lo volví a instalar y he verificado varias vcs cache

Pero el instalar incluye volver a descargar?

Reviaate los requerimientos como .net fireworks 4,3, etc. Y vuelve a instalarlos.

I recently uninstalled Visual C++ 2005 and then attempted to run the Grand Theft Auto IV game, except was given the SecuLauncher: Failed to start application error (2000),
so then I installed Visual C++ 2005 SP1 from this website: Visual C++ 2005, installed it and now the game runs!!!! Simply install Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable from that link.
